A North Carolina man stopped his wedding proposal when he noticed the Mexican restaurant they were in was getting robbed, WCNC reports. Nicholas Anderson and his fiance's son had been working on the perfect surprise proposal plan at Salsarita's, which was unfortunately paused when he saw the restaurant manager lock the door while the guy behind him pushed him out of the way to unlock it.
Anderson quickly realized what was going on, grabbed the robber, put him in a choke hold, and the robber quickly passed out, which is easily one of the most intense marriage proposal stories of all time. "Yeah, right before my husband proposed to me he stopped a robbery like a freaking superhero. No big deal." Anderson says that after going through all of that, it made it a lot less nerve-wracking to propose. Thankfully (and not surprisingly), she said yes.
