Nigeria’s Sprint Champion, Blessing Okagbare has just lost the 100m women title at the Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing against Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Dutchwoman Dafne Schippers and American Tori Bowie. The double Olympic champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce clocked 10.76 seconds to edge out Dafne Schippers, who took silver in 10.81 with American Tori Bowie third in 10.86.
The defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce reached the 100m final without any issues at the World Athletics Championships
