The Associated Press reports Mariah Carey, a songbird who is currently in love, is set to direct a Christmas movie for the Hallmark Channel. And I am dead from writing the last part of that sentence.
Mariah will direct and co-star in something called "Mariah Carey's Christmas Project," which hopefully will be the final name and not just a working title. She'll begin work on the movie in the fall. There's no word yet on who else will be in the film or what it will be about, but as long as it's something along the lines of Glitter 2: A Christmas Miracle, you can definitely count me in for this.
