When dogs decides to commit suicide

So my 12 year old Alsatian dog pulled a fast one on me this morning....Read the story below.....#true story

As i was trying to wake up from bed this morning, feeling so weak and lazy to stand up because i had to go to work. My mum just ran into my room to call my attention to come see my dog Rosa who she found out through her bedroom window that the dog has already entangle herself with her chain in a suicide like manner. I rushed out of bed and ran outside with her to confirm if the dog was truly dead. On getting to where the dog was, i tried removing the chain from her neck and it was as if the dog was truly dead, i felt this sadness in my heart, i was already blaming myself for chaining her down and reasons for chaining her was because she had a whole lot of ticks on her body and my neighbor already complained about it stylish and this made my dad to decide on selling the dog, since the dog is already old and weak. I got a buyer for the dog , ''all dis calabar dog eater'' who was suppose to pick the dog up later tomorrow evening and pay me a ridiculous amount. Ours was just to get rid of the dog before my neighbor gets back from their vacation. After helping her to remove the chain from her neck, i found out that she was still breathing so i tried putting water into her mouth but the dog was not just responding, i patted her head and i looked into her eyes and all i could see was a dying dog. Many thoughts ran through my mind that maybe this dog can actually sense that we are about to sell her off to a dog eater so probably decide on taking her own life herself before someone else does. I ran inside thinking of what next to do to resuscitate the dog back to life, i ran to the kitchen remembering my mum kept some fish bones and food remnants for her , so i went for it and ran back outside, on sighting me, the dog lying lifeless on ground stood up and started jumping up for the food and wagging her tail. i was surprised, I immediately poured the food into the bowl meant for her eating. She hurriedly finish the food up..... i was just so surprise that the dog lying down dying and fighting for her life some few minutes ago is now up as soon as she saw dog's favorite meal ''bone'' . i love dogs a lot and i will prefer Rosa to die naturally so have decided to to convince my dad not to sell her off , and get her treated.... FYI, i just added a boerboel and rottweiler to my dog collection
