Deranged gunman Flanagan filmed himself shooting dead two journalists as they made a live TV broadcast.

Two hours later the murderer faxed a 23-page rant to another TV station, saying: “I’ve been a human powder keg for a while… just waiting to go BOOM!!!!”.

He claimed the attack was revenge for the racist killings carried out by Dylann Roof at a Charleston church.

Viewers of WDBJ, a small news channel in Moneta, Virginia, watched in horror as Flanagan killed his ex-colleagues reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27.

While he was being tracked down by police, the gunman posted his gruesome footage online, boasting: “I filmed the shooting… see Facebook”.
